Changing jobs
I’ve finally got round to getting sorted with changin jobs. I hope i’m not jinxing anything by saying this but i had an interview today. I think it went well, let’s just hope i get a call next week for a second interview.
I was up in Portlaoise the past few days doing a training course. What a town?…. scared the bajasuas out of me. Let’s just say i won’t be walking around there on my own. The course went great, met some cool people, got loads of work to do from it, projects etc which in between browsing the Internet i am working on at the moment. The heritage hotel was lovely, great food and the staff were top notch. Am i doing a review here…
Anyway back to the research for these assignments. I am currently working on a skills demonstration, the brief, plan your training session and all the background stuff that goes along with it and so on. Exciting stuff i say. (I’m not been sarcastic there, it is really interesting)
I couldn’t help it.
My hair is now a lovely red. I’ve been thinking about dying it since i found that one grey hair and i did it last night. It’s looks lovely and feels lovely and it’s back to been me, even though i am always me, it’s me with red hair again. I love it i do.
Growing up and other stuff
Woo, just the best little bit of growing up i’m going to have to go through.
i was looking at lovely self in the mirror a few days ago and what do i see, i see a lovely grey hair coming out of the top of my head. Years of dying my hair an assortment of colours have finally led to this, i was warned.
So anyway, my first reaction wasn’t shock or dread, it was one of woo look at me i got a grey hair, how exciting! This feeling didn’t last long, a few minutes perhaps and then i realised i would need to start dying my hair to hide the grey, albeit it’s only one grey hair at the moment.
I think this new found discovery will be added to the list of memories, first kiss, first girly things, first whatever… woo grey hairs.
Something is confusing me insanly at the moment, as a passenger in Ryan’s car last Saturday an ad came on the radio saying QOTSA are playing support to Linkin Park. What the hell is that all about? I was meant to see QOTSA in February while they were playing the Ambassador, unfortunately tickets sold out. But like Linkin Park, QOTSA..what the fuck?….
I’m thinking because they’re touring Europe and there not playing Oxegen around that time, they really wanted to come back to Ireland, or they are desperate for money.
As for me thinking of going to the gig…nope, i haven’t been to a gig in ages, Ray LaMontagne was the last one and it was in the Opera House..woo go mad there.
